TOPIC: Parenting our Children in Today's Culture.
All couples are welcome to join us for this informative meeting on the above very important topic. Our mission is to discuss, share resources, and promote what “unites” our marriage and family unity. To eliminate what “divides” us from God, Marriage, & Family. There will be an event moderator who will ask questions to a panel of 3 married couples that have children in different generations and situations. The balance of time will be open to everyone for general Q & A. A fun and informative time will be shared by all! See this web page for more details and to submit panel questions: marriagefamilyconference.org

Send us an EMAIL to submit a question on the above topic, suggest a future topic of interest, or to express interest in serving as a panel couple. If you are an external organization wishing to help sponsor these events, please contact us as well. Please note that all sponsors must be from approved resources.

MORE: The concept is simple, unique, and always open to both individuals and couples. Our goal is to allow information and idea sharing on what works and what does not work in marriages and families. These evenings will be moderated with guidelines to make sure the evening is a “safe” and “constructive” event. These events are currently planned to meet on a quarterly basis. (January, April, July, & October) The three married couples chosen on the panel for these events are ordinary couples experienced in 3 different stages of life. The “suggestions” shared are from the heart and from “life” experiences. The three stages are:
-
1. Married 0-15 years with young children.
-
2. Married 13-30 years with teenage and college age kids at home.
-
3. Married 25+ years and empty nesters with grandchildren.
Here is a list of some potential future topics:
-
•Sexual purity in marriage and with our children
-
•Choosing to be a single income family
-
•Faith in our family
-
•TIME – an indication of what we value.
-
•Christmas and special family traditions
-
•Communication and handling conflict
-
•Dating ideas on a budget
-
•Forgiveness
-
•Couple and family prayer
-
