World marriage day

MIKE & ELLEN SALTER
“A Marriage Journey To the Heart of Christ Through the Joy of Suffering”
World Marriage Day was held on February 10th. You just missed a wonderful and spirit filled marriage enrichment event! Thank you Mike and Ellen Salter, Bishop Quinn, and all the dedicated organizers who make this possible. For those who wish to keep up with Meghan’s growth, please visit her website below.
About our guest speakers…
Mike and Ellen Salter have been happily married for 15 years. They have four beautiful children: Lauren 14, Michael 12, Shannon 9 and Meghan 5. Their youngest has an undiagnosed medical condition that renders her unable to move, speak, breathe, or eat on her own. They speak of their personal journey with Meghan, how their experience with their daughter has drawn them closer to God and to each other as a couple and a family. They speak of the gift of God’s Grace to sustain all.
Mike received his business marketing degree from Eastern Michigan; and Ellen received her degree from Western Michigan U., in Criminal Justice. Drawing on their interesting and challenging walk as a Christian couple, they share how the Lord continues to take them on a challenging journey. Whether it’s parenting issues, career choices, or just everyday struggles, you will be inspired and uplifted when you hear Mike & Ellen share examples of how their marriage is surviving adversity.
Please note this change to our guest Emcee…
We just received word that the Most Reverend John M. Quinn, Auxillary Bishop, Archdiocese of Detroit will be the new emcee for World Marriage Day! He is truly gifted as he speaks to others. He will say a few words to encourage and bless our marriages, pray a blessing over our dinner, and introduce our speakers, Mike & Ellen Salter.
